Equipment
I fish from an 18 foot Ranger Bass Boat with a Mercury 150 HP outboard and have LOWRANCE and GARMIN LCD depth finders. I use BASS PRO SHOPS bait casting reels and CABELA’S spinning reels. Recommended line size is 12 # test.

My Fishing Hole | Fayette County Lake
Fayette County Reservoir is a cooling water lake for a coal fired power plant operated by the Lower Colorado River Authority. The water in Fayette County Lake is warm enough to Bass fish year round. Favorite baits are plastic worms, spinnerbaits, swim baits, and crankbaits. Bass range from 1 - 5 # with real trophies going in the 8 – 10 # bass range on Fayette County Lake. I fish primarily with artificial bait. Some fishermen prefer live bait such as Waterdogs or Minnows. Live bait is not supplied as part of the fishing trip.
